Cancellation Policy

We understand that life can become busy and we provide a range of reminders to ensure that families stay on track with their ongoing therapy times (e.g. appointment cards, Email and SMS reminders). Families are encouraged to contact us at their earliest convenience to advise if they cannot attend a scheduled therapy session. If the appropriate notice is not provided, cancellation fees will apply. Unfortunately, when families do not attend scheduled appointments or give short notice of cancellations, vacancies are wasted when there are other families waiting for services on our wait list.

Early Notification Cancellation

Therapy sessions cancelled before 2.00pm on the day prior to a scheduled appointment will NOT incur a cancellation fee.

Late Notification Cancellation

Cancellations provided after 2.00pm the day prior to a scheduled appointment will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 20% of the scheduled fee.

No Notification

If we are not notified of a cancellation, a fee equivalent to 50% of the scheduled fee is payable.

Repeat Cancellations

Families who cancel three therapy sessions in a row will have their therapy appointment automatically reallocated to another client and they will not continue to receive services from Zoe Ward Speech Pathology until a non-refundable 50% deposit of the scheduled fee is paid in advance for the fourth session. Families will forfeit this fee if they fail to attend subsequent appointments or cancel.

Any costs associated with the recovery of debt for payment of services due to Zoe Ward Speech Pathology, will be charged to the client.
